Hers my logo design for the self promo brief. I really love design that has an illustrative, free flowing quality and i feel this fits the bill. Its quite playful and creative but still feel sophisticated, which i think represents my style of design well. Going to try it in a few different colours and then decided which is best or to have a mixture!!
so for my self promo i have decided to send a mailer to companies, which would be a box containing the “Recipe for Success, a box containing all the things that would make the perfect intern/employee, all packaged up as ingredients to make a cake, so for example, 150g of flour would be 150g of creativity or 1tbsp of baking powder would be 1tbsp of handwork etc etc. I would brand all of the packages with my logo and my CV/ covering letter would be in the form of a recipe card or book. I think this would repent for style of work and creativity well, as all of the branding would have an illustrative element and look really pretty and sophisticated! very excited for this project!!!

development of DPS and carrying on the water colour theme through out these spreads, and i really really like them, they are totally different from what i first pictured but i think they are much better than what i was wanting to achieve originally.
series of cover designs for the pentagram brief, i think they work really nicely. I chose the colours as they represent the work of the artists and are often featured throughout their portfolios. Very fun and vibrant!
Slowly but surely getting somewhere with my animation done the first 5 seconds!!! But so far im so proud of it, i think it works well, the style is defiantly going in the right directors, and so far the animation seems to be working aswell, which was one of the things i fear when initially drawing out these sketches that they wouldn’t animate well together but i was wrong!!! only another 25 seconds to go!!!
So vie been working on my motion piece this week and its coming along rather well, I am finding it quite hard as vie not been there for the tutorials due to being in london and trying to balance working full time 5 days a week, aswell as the D&AD brief at the same time as completing this motion work is very hard. Even so i feel that my work is coming along well, vie started drawing out some ideas in my sketch book and illustration some images for the animation its self. Im quite excited about this brief, its definitely more suited to me than the web deign one!!
